Mrs. Sherrill Williams Obituary

After a brave battle with pancreatic cancer, Sherrill Jeffery Williams, 85, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on February 20, 2025.

Born and raised in Melrose, MA, she attended Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA, earning a Psychology degree and marrying the love of her life, Howard "Howie" E. Williams.

After working as, a social worker for the city of Quincy, her family moved to Hudson, NH. There she served as financial secretary at Community Chapel and the Director of the Nashua Child Learning Center. Sherrill and Howie retired to Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. She began a card ministry and worked with youth at the Church of the Nazarene in Crossville.

An amiable hostess with an infectious laugh, Sherrill also loved reading, puzzles, card games, and the Boston Red Sox.

Sherrill is predeceased by her parents, Alva and Roy Jeffery, and her brother, Bob Jeffery. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howie Williams of Fairfield Glade; their daughter Kimberly (Jonathan) Mills of Wilmington, Delaware; and her grandchildren, MacKenzie and Wesley Mills.
