Crossville, TN - Ronald Innes Macfarlane, 83, of Fairfield Glade, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. He was born April 17, 1942, in Montreal, Canada. He served six years in the United States Air Force, earned bachelor's degrees in English and history at The University of Connecticut, and then worked in sales for 40 years. Ron and his late wife of 44 years, Kathleen, lived in Clarence, NY until they retired to Fairfield Glade in 2011.
Ron loved worship and fellowship at Tollett's Chapel and The Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church. Ron also enjoyed sharing his love of coins. In 2023, he earned the American Numismatic Association Outstanding District Representative Service Award.
He is survived by his son, James Macfarlane; and his daughter, Katie (Chris) Graves; and three grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Tollett's Chapel in Crossville. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to Tollett's Chapel Global Methodist Church or donating to the Fairfield Glade Dog Park.
