Mrs. Karen Elaine Gainer (Karen) Obituary
Karen Elaine (Bender) Gainer passed away on Feb. 21, 2025 after heart surgery. She was born Nov. 2, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Alfred and Ethel (Ryan) Bender. Karen worked for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad as a clerk and then was promoted to chief clerk. She moved to Fairfield Glade with her husband, Gerald, in 2008. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers (Burwyn and Roland) and her husband who passed in 2018. She is survived by her niece; Kathy Elaine Hafford, and Kathy's children; Kristine and Nickolas, her nephews; Michael and Gregory Bender, her niece; Duana and her nephews; Carl and Kelly Bender and their children. Her Celebration of Life will take place March 8, 10:00 am at Tollett Chapel (95 Tabor Loop, Crossville, TN 38571.
