Robert "Bob" M. Lunn, formerly of Nashville, TN, born Jan. 27, 1930, passed away May 17, 2016. He was an active member of Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Bettye; two daughters, Judy and Jenny; two grandchildren, Justin and Michele; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Taylor. Also, two brothers, George Lunn and John Lunn; and one sister, Shirley Chapman, all of Nashville, TN.
As a U.S. Marine Corp Reservist, he was activated in 1950 and made the Inchon, Korea, invasion. He was awarded a Purple Heart after being wounded twice. He was retired from the U.S. Post Office and worked many years as a stagehand with IATSE Local #46 in Nashville. He also worked several years at Stonehenge Golf Course as a starter-ranger.
An anatomical donation was made to Vanderbilt School of Medicine at his death. A memorial service will be held at FG Baptist First Church on Saturday, June 18, with visitation at 10:30 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. Donations can be made to the FG First Baptist Church Building Fund.
