Edward F. Richter Jr. of Fairfield Glade, went to his heavenly home on Feb. 11, 2018, after a long illness.
He was born in Chicago, IL, and his most memorable birthday was in 2012 when he went on an HonorAir flight to Washington, DC.
He attended Morton Jr. College and DeVry Institute and served as a U.S. Marine from 1952 through 1953 in the First Marine Air Wing.
Edward is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie (Novak); three daughters, Cheryl Fredell (Chris) of Jensen Beach, FL, Allison Richter of Boulder, CO, and Lisa Bochniak (Gene) of Allentown, PA; and two granddaughters, Melissa and Brooke, both of Allentown, PA.
Heartfelt thanks to Rev. Jay Archer and Rev. Moses Han for numerous visits and prayers offered and the tender care Cumberland House Hospice gave Edward.
A celebration of life will be held at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church on Feb. 24, 2018, at 2 p.m.
